President of India, Nagaland CM, Dy CM extend Easter greetings
NEW DELHI — President Droupadi Murmu on Saturday extended her greetings to people on the eve of Easter.
President Murmu in a message said, “On the auspicious occasion of Easter, I extend my greetings and good wishes to all citizens living in India and abroad, especially the Christian brothers and sisters.”
“This festival marks the celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection, and is a symbol of love and compassion. Easter gives the message that truth is eternal and shows us the path of sacrifice and forgiveness. The teachings of Jesus Christ guide us on the path of peace and harmony,” she added.
The President further called on everyone to spread love and harmony in society by adopting the values of Jesus Christ and contributing to the development of the nation.
Meanwhile, Rio took to micro-blogging site X to convey his Easter greetings.
“Jesus’ greatest act of love on Good Friday is followed by the greatest act of power on Easter Sunday, which is His resurrection. May the miracle of Easter bring renewed love, hope and joy in our lives. I wish everyone a happy and a blessed Easter,” he wrote.

Patton also extended greetings to the people of Nagaland, stating that “Easter Sunday is a very significant occasion celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which has opened the doors of salvation to generations”.
“The supreme sacrifice on the cross is a manifestation of the true Gospel of Love,” read his message.
The BLP leader also conveyed Easter greetings on behalf of the state BJP legislators.
