Police station at dispute area to be relocated today, says Mao Council

DIMAPUR — The Mao Council has informed the Tenyimi People’s Organisation (TPO) that the Manipur police station in the disputed Kezoltsa/Koziirii/Kazing will be relocated to an undisputed site on Friday.

“The Mao Council has been informed through the Hon’ble MLA of Mao A/C by the Chief Secretary, Manipur, late last night i.e. 14th March, 2024, that the PS in the dispute area will be relocated to an undisputed area today i.e. the 15th March 2024,” the Mao Council stated in a letter to the president of TPO, on Friday.

“We have also visited the site, identified for the relocation and observed that necessary arrangement for the relocation has been going on since the last two days,” the letter added.
