Naga Shisha Hoho, FNR to organise ‘Nurturing Naga Peoplehood’
DIMAPUR — The Naga Shisha Hoho and the Forum of Naga Reconciliation (FNR) will organise a two-day programme called ‘Nurturing Naga Peoplehood’ at the Naga Shisha Hoho Prayer Centre in Phek district’s Kutsapo village, from February 17 to the 18th.
In a press release on Monday, the organising committee informed that the event will be held on the theme ‘Liberating the Naga spirit.’ The ‘Naga gathering’ programme is jointly organised by the Naga Shisha Hoho and the FNR “through divine revelation” to reason together, reflect, and continue the journey of Naga reconciliation and Naga unity.
It said that on February 16, ‘prayer warriors’ will gather at the venue to have prayer sessions of devotion and intercession for the two-day event, with Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo as the speaker.
Among others, various speakers, including Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, general secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council; Rev. Dr. Wati Aier, convenor of FNR; and Rev. Dr. Chekrovei Cho-o, executive secretary of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Council, will address the congregation. The event will also include messages from Naga political groups, state politicians, including Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, and Naga frontal organisations, it said.
In this connection, the organising committee has requested all church leaders, Naga political groups and state politicians to attend the event.
“All the Naga frontal organisations: Naga Hoho, NTC, NMA, NPMHR, NSF, ENPO, ENSF, ENMA, CNTC, tribal hohos, UNC, and Naga inhabitant leaders in Myanmar, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Manipur, must attend the programme,” it added.
