AR facilitates senior citizens to attend Hornbill Festival

DIMAPUR — In a heartwarming gesture, the Assam Rifles undertook a special initiative aimed at providing a memorable experience for elderly people of Peren district to attend the Hornbill Festival on December 9.

A defence release stated that Assam Rifles offered a range of services to facilitate the attendance of 25 elderly visitors to the festival. The services included dedicated seating areas with comfortable arrangements, easy access points, on-site assistance from trained personnel to ensure a hassle-free and enjoyable experience for the senior citizens.

Recognising the significance of cultural events and the positive impact they have on communities, it stated that Assam Rifles is committed to ensuring that every individual regardless of age to partake in the vibrant celebrations of the Hornbill Festival.
