DIMAPUR — Chief of Staff of 3 Corps, Maj. Gen. Vijay Jotwani, inspected Sainik School Punglwa Nagaland (SSPN) and interacted with the staff and cadets on Thursday.
The visit of Maj. Gen. Jotwani, who is also the chairman of SSPN local board of administration, coincided with the XXIX local board of administration (LBA) meeting.
An update from the school stated that on his arrival, the chairman was received by Col. Arvind Nautiyal, school principal. He later escorted by the equestrian team to the newly constructed war memorial where he laid the first official wreath and paid respect to the brave hearts of the Indian armed forces.
It stated that the officer was oriented about the school infrastructure on the school’s sand model followed by briefing by the principal on all aspects of training and administration of the school. The principal expressed gratitude to the chairman, all officials of the state government and members of LBA for attending the meet.
The chairman also inspected the school followed by interaction with the cadets and the staff in Capt. Kenguruse Cadets’ Mess.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the School Education department, DC office, engineer of PWD , principal of JNV, Jalukie, HOD of College of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, Jalukie, and parents of SSPN.
