13 colleges participate in Nagaland University football trials

KOHIMA — The inter-collegiate selection trial for football (men) was held at Nagaland University’s Kohima campus on Thursday, organised by the department of Sports, Nagaland University.

According to a press release, the trial began with a briefing from Mesanguto Meru, assistant director of Sports, Nagaland University, followed by the trial selection announcement.

A total of 13 colleges from different district will be participating in the selection trial, which will continue till November 11.

The selected players will represent Nagaland University in the North East Zone Tournament, which will be held from the December 13 to 17 at Royal Global University in Guwahati.
