DBHSS, Springdale School champions of ANPSA Wokha futsal c’ship

DIMAPUR — Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS) were crowned champions after they prevailed over spirited Christian Model High School (CMHS) 2-1, in the finals of the girls’ Inter-School Futsal Championship organised by All Nagaland Private School Association (ANPSA) Wokha unit.

In the boys’ category, Springdale School thrashed Regimental School DEF Wokha 6-1 to claim the champions’ title, an update stated.

The spectators also witnessed an exciting exhibition match played between President’s 5 and rest of ANPSA, in which the later won 2-1.

The three-day event, which concluded on Saturday, was held at ‘Legacy Futsal Arena,’ Etsütchükha.

All the cash awards and running trophies were sponsored by R Mhonroni Murry, proprietor and headmistress of Perennial School, Wokha.

Meanwhile, the association informed all member schools that the annual head of institution picnic–cum-annual general body meeting (AGBM) will be held on October 30 at Chukidong Area Baptist Mission School, Wokha. All schools affiliated to ANPSA Wokha unit will remain close on October 30, it stated.
