DIMAPUR — Sainik School in Punglwa organised a workshop for the cadets on “Emerging technology and cyber security” on Saturday in the school premises with A Morimenba Amer, joint director and scientist ‘D’ of National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIEIT), under the department of Electronics and Information Technology, Kohima, as the resource person.
An update from the school stated that through the workshop, the cadets have enhanced their digital literacy, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The scientist, who is also an ex-cadet of Sainik School Imphal, further elaborated on the need to guard oneself from cyber threat and crime.
In conclusion, the officiating principal of the school, Lt. Col. Leena Bajaj, thanked the resource person for being a source of learning and encouragement to all the cadets.
