4 teams in fray for Phek inter-school football tournament finals

DIMAPUR — Christian Mission School (CMS), Phek town; Govt. HSS, Phek town; Bishop Abraham Memorial School, Phek town, and GHS Losami, booked their semi-final berths at the ongoing inter-school football tournament, organised by the 38th Assam Rifles, Phek Battalion.

The semi final and final matches will be play on Oct. 28, an update stated.

In thrilling quarter final matches played on Friday, CMS defeated Baptist Mission School 3-0; GHSS Phek town (Team A) thrashed GHSS Phek town (Team B) 3-0; Bishop Abraham Memorial downed GHSS Phek village 8-3, while GHS Losami won over Kiddies Corner School 3-1.

Meanwhile, in the under girls’ category, GHS Losami will clash with GHSS Phek town, in the final to be played on Saturday afternoon.
