‘Rally of Phek’ to commemorate 50 years of the district
DIMAPUR — The ‘Rally of Phek,’ a one-day road bicycle rally, is set to take place on November 4 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Phek district.
According to a press release, the rally is open to all aged 15 years and older, and the winner will receive INR 70,000. The second and third place winners will receive INR 40,000 and INR 20,000, respectively. There will also be ten consolation prizes of INR 5,000 each.
The rally will begin at Glory Peak in Pfutsero and end in Phek town. It is imagined by the Phek District Golden Jubilee Event Committee and sponsored by the department of Tourism. Kalos and Phek Town Youth Society are venue partners.
