Bhandari ADC accorded warm farewell

DIMAPUR — Bhandari sub-division held a farewell programme in honour of the outgoing Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari, Rohit Singh, at Dobashi Court, Bhandari, on Monday.

The ADC, in his farewell speech, thanked his supporting staff, officers of the sub-division, civil societies and other public leaders for their cooperation and support during his tenure, a DIPR report stated.

He acknowledged that maintaining peace and order in and around the state border areas of the sub-division, as well as within the entire sub-division, and accomplishing various tasks for public service was possible because of teamwork.

He said that whenever there was any pressing issue, everyone concerned promptly cooperated and played a proactive role along with the civil administration, to handle any given situation and resolve any matter. Stating that Bhandari sub-division is laden with potential in various aspects, Singh encouraged the officers and public leaders to continue working for the sub-division.

SDO Ralan, Rorheu Peseyie; EE PWD (R&B) Baghty, Kuhovi Sema; head DB, T. John Kikon; HA, Merisao Mozhui; chairman of  Lotha Hoho Bhandari, Tachow Lotha and chairperson, Bhandari Town Lotha Eloe Hoho, Mhonyani Mozhui, also spoke during the programme.

A special number was presented by APRO, Lily Ngullie.

The programme was chaired by EAC Champang, Kilangtemsu, and EAC Bhandari HQ, Wetsho Lasushe, who delivered the vote of thanks. Rohit Singh, on his promotion, is transferred and posted as deputy commissioner of Tseminyu district.
