NHM conducts training on oral health for teachers
DIMAPUR — Under the aegis of National Health Mission (NHM), a team from Kohima District Oral Health Programme conducted training for the teachers of Government High School (GHS) at Forest Colony on September 22.
An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Kohima, stated that presentation on oral health and hygiene was highlighted by Dr. Noyingbeni Khuvung, while a powerpoint president on oral diseases was made by Dr. Mhonsenli Yanthan.
A demonstration on tooth brushing technique and brief summary on tobacco and its ill effects was presented by Dr. I Simon Sumi, district oral health officer under National Oral Health Programme.
It further stated that IEC materials, toothbrush, toothpaste were also distributed to the participants after the programme.
