Seyie clinches Open Table Tennis League title

DIMAPUR — The first Open Table Tennis League – Season 1 concluded on Thursday at Kohima Indoor Table Tennis Stadium, with Seyievilie Seyie emerging as the champion.

Ricky Hinglak and Ihubuing Haikube were placed first and second runners-up, respectively, an update stated.

The player of motivation title was awarded to the lone lady player Thejavinuo Rio, who competed along with 32 registered players.

Altogether, 240 matches were played in the three-day championship.

Earlier, in the programme preceding the final match, Director of Youth Resources and Sports, Kethosituo Sekhose the guest of honour, exhorted the players to exhibit true sportsmanship spirit.

He also encouraged the players to pursue their dreams and attain the required criteria to become eligible coaches. 

The Open TT League – Season 1 was sponsored by veteran players and organised by the Kohima Table Tennis Association.
