Longleng FBOs instructed to obtain or renew FSSAI licence

DIMAPUR —  Dr. Samuel Akho Konyak, EAC Longleng, has directed that all food business operators (FBOs) in Longleng district obtain or renew their FSSAI licence and registration certificate on or before October 31 in accordance with the H&FW Nagaland notification regarding obtaining or renewing their FSSAI licence and registration certificate.

RPOK Kohima to hold meeting on September 8

DIMAPUR —  The Rengma Public Organisation (RPOK), Kohima, has scheduled a meeting at RPOK vice president Kolevi Kent’s residence below the APO building in Kohima at 3 pm on September 8. In a press release, it asked all the executives and advisors, as well as the unit president and general secretary, to attend the meeting.

State Scouts and Guides council meeting on September 29

DIMAPUR —  All members of the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides State Council have been informed that the state council meeting will be held on September 29 at 11 am at the Life Members’ Building conference hall, NSBSG state headquarters, Upper Bayavu, Kohima. All the council members have been requested to attend the meeting.

DPC, KPC condole

DIMAPUR —  The Dimapur Press Club (DPC) and Kohima Press Club (KPC) have mourned the demise of Chubala Kichu, the mother of the DPC’s general secretary, Akangjungla Longchar. In a press release, the DPC mentioned that Kichu breathed her last on Wednesday morning in Dimapur after a prolonged illness, leaving behind a legacy of love, care, and enduring strength, while the KPC said in a condolence message that her positive spirit will continue to inspire. Both clubs have expressed condolences to the family and prayed that the deceased’s soul rest in peace.

NSCN (K-Khango) cadre surrenders

DIMAPUR —  The Assam Rifles has claimed that its concentrated efforts have led to the surrender of one active NSCN (K-Khango) cadre along with one .32 mm pistol and one live round. According to a press release from the AR, the cadre surrendered in Mokokchung district and had been highly active since 2015, engaging in extortion-related activities.

ANCSU condoles the demise of its former sports secretary

DIMAPUR —  The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has condoled the demise of its former games and sports secretary, Lima Jamir, who died on September 5. In a condolence message, ANCSU stated that with Jamir’s untimely death, the students’ fraternity and Naga society in general have lost a brilliant leader. ANCSU expressed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that the deceased’s soul rest in peace.

DGC informs students to collect certificates

DIMAPUR —  The Dimapur Government College (DGC) has asked all Bachelor of Arts and Commerce students who graduated in 2022 to come and collect their pass certificate on or before September 30. In a press release, the college noted that any student who cannot come personally to collect the certificate may send in an authorisation letter with a photocopy of their 6th semester marksheet to collect the same. It also stated that this is the final call to all students who graduated between 2015 and 2021, and that the college will not entertain such matters after the stipulated date.
