DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd. (NHHDCL) will hold state handloom expos in Dimapur, Phek, and Kohima from October 9, 2023, to March 18, 2024.
According to an NHHDCL press release, an expo will be held at Urban Haat in Dimapur from October 9 to 22, 2023, and the application deadline is October 5. An expo will be held in Phek town from December 5 to 18, 2023, with the deadline for applications being December 2.
Another expo will be held at Urban Haat in Dimapur from February 16 to 29, 2024, with an application deadline of February 12, and an expo will be held at Kohima village ground from March 5 to 18, 2024, with the deadline for application submission on March 1, 2024.
The expos are sponsored by the Development Commissioner (Handloom), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
The release also stated that interested co-operative societies, producer companies, SHGs, federations, apex societies, handloom and handicrafts agencies, including silk weavers, jute artisans, and KVIC, may apply for participation in the Project Cell, NHHDC Ltd., Half Nagarjan, Dimapur, with an application on or before the above-mentioned dates during office hours, along with a detailed address, mobile number, and bank account number with IFSC code.
All stalls will be provided free of charge, with lump sum TA, DA, and freight charges reimbursed in accordance with NHDP guidelines.
