NPCC grievances cell demands cancellation of ‘teachers transferred with post’
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) public grievances department has demanded ‘cancellation of teachers transferred with post and detachment of teachers from VIPs (MLA), DEO and SDEOs within Sangtam jurisdiction’.
Extending support to the United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC), the NPCC public grievances department claimed in a press release that there is a shortage of 123 teachers and 63 of them ‘transferred with post’ in Sangtam areas.
Maintaining that the genuine issues have not been addressed despite several representations by the student body, it questioned the government how a school could function without teachers.
Meanwhile, the NPCC public grievances department lauded the Advisor of School Education, Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome for showing concern for the School Education department and his willingness to address the issues. It also urged the government the issues for the welfare of students in the state.
