DIMAPUR — The second batch of startups incubated with Educentre School of Business (ESB) was launched by A Temjen Jamir, director of Industries and Commerce on Thursday.

In his keynote address, Jamir spoke about how incubation centres have helped startups to move ideas into business and how incubation centres helped startups with branding marketing networks and getting access to the ecosystem.

An update from ESB stated that Ilandlo Services Private Limited. has shed light on their journey to success, challenges faced and lessons learned.

Suprateek Roy, representing the startup banking team from IDFC FIRST Bank, Delhi, also addressed the gathering on the role of banks in the startup ecosystem.

It stated that the event saw a diverse range of startups that are already making waves in the local business environment including Urban Jungle, NITI, Foster Young Skill Initiative Pvt. Ltd., Tabernacle, Pawf Nagaland, 90.8 Hills FM, Annalia Beauty, and Kats Collection.

Each of the startups shared their brief profiles, highlighting their unique contributions to various industries and how startups in Nagaland are playing an integral part in driving economic growth as well as the government’s continued support in creating an enabling environment.

It mentioned that ESB has 16 startups and generated employment for upto 120+ people with a combined revenue generation of upto INR 4 crore. ESB is one of the incubation centres under Startup Nagaland of Industries and Commerce department.
