Longleng bids farewell to ‘people’s SP’ Dr. Pritpal Kaur

DIMAPUR — A farewell programme for the outgoing SP Longleng, Dr. Pritpal Kaur, was held on August 29 at the SP office, Longleng.

On the occasion, DC Longleng Dharam Raj lauded the SP for her selfless work and referred to her as a ‘people’s SP’ who worked with all spheres of society.

In her farewell speech, Kaur thanked all the police officers, departments, and non-governmental organisations for their support and cooperation during her time in the district.

N Tialemba Phom, executive secretary of the Phom Baptist Christian Association, spoke in his speech about the SP’s contributions, including the peaceful conduct of the general election, law and order duties, rehabilitation of drug addicts, etc., initiated by Kaur.

The programme was attended by NGOs, heads of offices, and police personnel.
