An unidentified man, around 30 years old, hit by Ford Figo, died from injuries on August 15 near Burma Camp police junction.
DIMAPUR — One unidentified non-Naga male pedestrian, aged around 30 years, succumbed to injuries after being hit by a speeding Ford Figo car bearing registration No. NL07H 1965 on August 15 at around 0230 hours near Burma Camp police point junction.
A police report issued by the deputy commissioner of police (crime) and PRO stated that the deceased was wearing torn olive green half pants, torn grey t-shirt, a metal finger ring on the middle finger, grey/white belt and steel bangles on the right hand. It stated that the body was shifted to District Hospital, Dimapur, morgue for postmortem examination and identification after completion of all legal formalities.

In another incident, police recovered one unidentified male body, aged around 25-30 years from KM 258/0-1 towards RXR end at Dimapur railway station on August 15 at around 0250 hours.
According to the police report, the severed head of the deceased, suspected to be a Naga, was found lying inside the railway track, while the body was found intact outside the track. Police suspected that the deceased was run over by a running train.
It stated that the body has been shifted to District Hospital, Dimapur, morgue for post-mortem examination and identification after completion of all legal formalities.
The deceased has a fair complexion with tattoo marks on his right arm, which read “Iz” and “ONND” and wearing a black t-shirt and grey long pants.
