DIMAPUR — Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN), in collaboration with its knowledge partner State Bank of India (SBI), organised a financial literacy workshop in Wokha town on August 12. This event marked the 7th workshop in a series planned for all nine districts of Nagaland in 2023.

An update from WENN reported that the resource person, C Yanthan, who also serves as the lead district manager, provided a comprehensive explanation of financial management, various account types, loans, credit scores, and other crucial aspects of financial literacy for entrepreneurs.

The update mentioned that a total of 48 women from diverse sectors participated in the workshop, and the participants’ enthusiasm and eagerness to grasp financial literacy concepts were overwhelming.

WENN also conducted a similar workshop in the Tseminyu district on August 11th, with Panü Eliakim, the SBI branch manager of Tseminyu town, as the resource person. This session was attended by 35 women entrepreneurs from different sectors.

WENN reaffirmed its commitment to organising additional events aimed at supporting and empowering women entrepreneurs throughout Nagaland.
