KOHIMA — The Chadanyi Krotho Zhadima celebrated the 8th Chadanyi festival on August 10 at Vitseizolie farm in Zhadima village under Kohima district.
Chadanyi is celebrated after paddy transplantation is done and cleaning of paddy field pathways.
During the celebration, president of Nagaland Football Coaches Association (NFCA), Roko Angami, who is also a member of Chadanyi Krotho, exhorted the gathering and called upon the members to stay united and continue to work for the common good.
The programme was chaired by the president of Chadanyi Krotho, Thepfiisalie Thomas, while Vitseizolie Soriinuo invoked God’s blessings.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dielievio.
Meanwhile, Vizosielie Khoubve has been inducted as the new president of Chadanyi Krotho with Khriengulie Dominic and Akho Sorü as general secretary and treasurer respectively.
