KDFA reminds associations, clubs to follow NFA directives
DIMAPUR— The Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) has informed that any association, club or group(s) desiring to conduct any football tournament under Kohima district should obtain authorisation letter beforehand from KDFA in consultation with the Nagaland Football Association (NFA).
The association in a press release stated that this was in line with the directives issued by NFA to all district football associations to follow certain guidelines prescribed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for the growth and development of football in the country.
It stated that in any given tournament(s), the organisers, players and officials should mandatorily follow all the regulations of AIFF/FIFA/AFC and laws of the game.
All outstation participating team(s) should have in their possession a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their respective parent association without which the team(s) would be barred from participating in any tournaments in Kohima district, KDFA stated.
Likewise all team(s) of Kohima district should mandatorily obtain NOC from KDFA for participating at any outstation tournaments.
“No registered referees under Kohima District Football Referee Association (KDFRA) will be allowed to officiate any unregistered or non-affiliated tournaments. In case of violation, strict action will be initiated against the individual,” the association added.
