Immanuel College, Dimapur, celebrated its Graduation Day on July 15 in the college auditorium
DIMAPUR — Immanuel College, Dimapur, celebrated its Graduation Day on July 15 in the college auditorium with former DGP Nagaland Besesayo Kezo, as the commencement speaker.
In his address, Kezo encouraged the graduates to strive for excellence and emphasised the significance of discipline, sincerity, determination, and hard work in life. Kezo reminded the graduates that the real competition, which is immense, would begin now, and to emerge victorious, they need to stay resolute, never be intimidated, and remain focused on their goals.
Stating that success is not guaranteed, he, however, asked them never to give up, to remain dedicated to their preparations and be ready to make sacrifices. He added that they should seek help and guidance from God, and reminded them that “God helps only those who help themselves.”
The programme was chaired by Lanusangla Imsong, assistant professor, Department of Zoology. Th. Sharatchandra Singh, principal of Immanuel College, delivered the welcome address, while Dr. A Loso Chalai, chairman of the governing body of the college, gave the introductory speech.
During the programme, toppers Atheni Khrasi (B. Sc Chemistry) and Imnajungla Jamir (B. Sc Zoology) were also honoured with certificates and cash award of INR 20,000 each.
