DIMAPUR — Commemorating world population fortnight, which is being observed from June 27 to July 24, Longleng District Health Society has flagged off the Saarthi- awareness on wheels on July 7 from the office premises of CMO Longleng.
A press release from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Longleng, stated that the programme was flagged off by Dr. Samuel Konyak, EAC of Longleng, in the presence of DPO (UIP/RCH) Dr. Imnameren Phom, Saarthi team, staff from CMO office and ASHA.
It mentioned that SAARTHI vehicle is smartly designed and equipped with interactive communication devices for information through public addressing system and IEC materials. It added that the SAARTHI team would be covering all the health facilities according to a week-long road map plan starting from July 7.
