KSA–Inglongpho inducts new office bearers
DIPHU — The newly elected president of Karbi Students Association (KSA–Inglongpho), Mirjeng Kro and general secretary, George Timung were officially administered to the office for a two year term (2023-2025).
The oath taking ceremony was held at KSA central executive committee (KSA-CEC) office, Rongthe-ang, in Diphu on Wednesday. The oath of office was administered by KSA advisers Bijoy.
Stressing on the responsibilities to work for students welfare and to improve the educational atmosphere in Karbi Anglong, Kro assued that the new inducted office bearers will work tirelessly for the welfare of the society. He also said that the KSA will continue to extend cooperation in striving for an autonomous state issue.
The general secretary, George Timung said that in Karbi Anglong infrastructure development is given more importance than development of human resources while stating that the KSA will give more preference on human resources development and to see that there is no corruption done at the foundation level.
