DIMAPUR — Sainik School Punglwa (SSP) has hosted the team of Bharat Aabhar Parv on April 12. Bharat Aabhar Parv is a celebration in paying gratitude to the revolutionaries who fought and died for the motherland.
An update from the school stated that the team was welcomed by the school’s principal, Group Captain RK Yadav. The team comprising 22 members from eight different states of the country visited the school enroute to Netaji INA Memorial at Moirang, Manipur, where they would observe Moirang Vijay Diwas on April 14.
It stated that a motivational talk was organised on the occasion, wherein Vijay Purshottam Das Patel, coordinator of Netaji INA Heritage Yatra, explained to the audience about the sacrifice and contribution of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose to the freedom movement of the country. His speech was complemented with a short video on INA.
It added that the presentation was well received by the cadets and staff. Meanwhile, the school’s principal has appreciated the team and presented them school memento. The team leader reciprocated by presenting a portrait of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and books on the life of Netaji to the school.
