DIMAPUR — Independent MLA Dr. Neisatuo Mero representing 16 – Pfutsero A/C has urged his constituency people to avail various state schemes including the Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Scheme (CMMFS) and Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS).
The MLA said the CMMFS will help open avenues to unemployed youths who are interested to start any type of business.
Mero, who organised a thanksgiving programme on March 29 at Pfutseromi village to thank his constituency people for electing him, also lauded the state government for the concern shown for public health through introduction of the CMHIS.
He reminded the public to be aware of available schemes and to register themselves to avail the benefits.
He also highlighted the pressing issue of the ULB election and Nagaland Municipal Act of 2001.
The MLA thanked Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for accepting the Independent MLAs to be a part of the Government and also gave due credit to the various party leaders at different levels for their support.
He also thanked his supporters for their unceasing prayers and having faith in his leadership. He further underscored the need for unity and peace for betterment and progress of the society.
Mero was accompanied by B Bangtick Phom, from 49 – Tamlu assembly constituency under Longleng district.
A host of public leaders and village elders of the area also spoke on the occasion. The thanksgiving programme was chaired by Ditsolo Khutsoh (Area President of Independent Party, 16th Pfutsero A/C).
