Dimapur — A peer team appointed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bengaluru, visited Sazolie College, Jotsoma, on March 23 and 24 for the second cycle of assessment and accreditation.
During their visit, the team interacted with the college principal, IQAC, departments, members of the committees, support services, faculty, staff, students and other stakeholders of the college like the governing body members, alumni and parents. Besides document verification, the team also visited the facilities of the college such playground, hostels, canteen, laboratories, MI Room, legal aid service cell, staff quarters, gymnasium, library, auditorium hall, girls common room etc., stated an update from the college.
On the first day, the team interacted with representatives of the department of Higher Education, government of Nagaland, representatives from Nagaland University and the governing body members.
The visit concluded with an exit meeting on March 24, which was chaired by IQAC assistant coordinator, Dr. Vimhaseno Neikha. It stated that the team members, in their speeches, lauded the college for maintaining green campus, cleanliness in the hostels, canteen, library and the entire campus. They also commended the community-oriented extension services conducted by the various clubs and departments.
