Online registration for joining Indian Army as Agniveer extended
Online registration period for joining Indian Army as Agniveer has been extended by five days upto March 20. Earlier, the last date for the registration was March 15.
Candidates can register themselves using their Aadhaar cards or class 10 certificates, a defence release stated.
Registration charges for the recruitment is INR 500. However, during the registration, a candidate is required to pay only INR 250 using UPI, credit card, debit card or internet banking. Indian Army will pay the balance INR 250 on behalf of each candidate. Candidates must have an activated debit card, for online transactions.
During the first stage of recruitment, all registered candidates will need to undergo an online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) at chosen examination centres. There are two examination centres in Nagaland and three examination centres in Manipur, the release stated.
Indian Army has granted substantial bonus marks for sportsmen, NCC certificate holders and ITI qualified candidates in the selection.
