One body kept at District Hospital Dimapur Nagaland

One person identified as Sukumar Banik (63), resident of Medziphema, was brought dead by an ambulance at District Hospital Dimapur on January 19. A police report issued by the deputy commissioner of police (crime) and PRO Dimapur Police stated that the deceased was undergoing medical treatment at Faith Hospital, Dimapur, after being admitted by an unknown non-Naga. It stated that he was discharged by the hospital authority and referred to the District Hospital Dimapur for further treatment following which he was brought dead by an ambulance. It stated that no foul play could be ascertained and the body has been kept at the hospital morgue for post-mortem examination and to ascertain the cause of death. SVEEP poster campaign launched in Dimapur

The deputy commissioner and district election officer of Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal, along with SVEEP icon, Aosunep Tzudir, the reigning Mr. Dimapur, officially launched the SVEEP poster campaign for Dimapur district on Friday in the office of DC, Dimapur. Speaking at the launch event, the DC sought cooperation from the members of DCCI and Auto Drivers’ Union Dimapur District in spreading awareness about fair and clean election and educating the voters on proper electoral procedures by pasting the posters at strategic locations and in the auto-rickshaws. SVEEP posters, written in both English and Nagamese, were handed to them. Administrative officers including ADC and RO Dimapur, Mhalo Humstoe, and other officers were also present during the launch programme.

NSCN/GPRN has recovered one Etios Liva (Toyota) car bearing engine no: M25G160058B2 and chassis no: MBJK30ET908047809. ACRWA to hold 59^th session

The Angami Christian Revival Women Association (ACRWA) will hold its 59^th session from January 27 to the 29^th at CRC Tsiepfiitsiepfe, Kohima. An update from the association informed that Rev. Dr. Neikedozo Paphino, advisor of NCRCC; Kepe Nakhro, evangelist; and Tsovile Sophie, chairperson of SCRWA; would be main speakers of the session.
