‘Thunivu’ first review: Ajith Kumar makes absolutely no mistake; Thala’s performance hailed by critic

Bengaluru, Jan. 10 (EMN): Ajith Kumar’s much-awaited movie “Thunivu” is all set to hit the screens worldwide on Wednesday, January 11.
Even as the countdown for the release of the Tamil movie “Thunivu” has begun, a critic, who claimed to have access to reports from an overseas censor board, has praised the film to the heavens.
According to the critic, Ajith has given his “career-best performance” in ‘Thunivu’, and a special mention was made about Thala’s “swag and style”.

The critic also lauded Manju Warrier’s performance in ‘Thunivu’, describing her as a “surprise package”.

Technically speaking, the product is slick? Undeniably the best the Tamil screen has witnessed ever. Youth & Masses will go gaga over this Thriller.”

“Thunivu” is an action heist which reunited the trio Ajith, H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor who had earlier collaborated in hit films like “Nerkonda Paarvai” and “Valimai”. The film has Samuthirakani, Pavani Reddy, Prem Kumar and others in the supporting cast.
Meanwhile, “Thunivu” is clashing with Vijay’s “Varisu”, a family drama directed by Vamsi Paidipally, in the theatres.
“Varisu” has also created a lot of buzz but it is to be seen if it will live up to the expectations.
