Yimchunger Student’s Union Dimapur (YSUD) has celebrated its freshers meet on July 31 at YBC Dimapur on the theme “Wreathing the wraps of life”. Amos, president of Western Yimchunger Student’s Union (WYSU), who graced the occasion as the special guest, urged upon the students, particularly the freshers, to not only excel in academic education but also soar high by inculcating the values of life. He also advised the students to have clear vision and make themselves responsible citizens in the society.
Around 150 freshers were introduced to the Union. Pastor Atsan, YBC Dimapur, had invoked God’s blessings, while Lakiumong, president YSUD, delivered the welcome address and Rikhum K spoke on behalf of the freshers. The programme concluded with the benediction said by Mrs. Tsusola Keoshu, women pastor YSUD.
