Nagaland Governor extends Terhünyi greetings to Angami community

Dimapur, Dec. 9 (EMN): Nagaland Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi has conveyed greetings to the Angami community and the people of the state on the occasion of Terhünyi festival.

“Angamis celebrate this festival as a thanksgiving to God for the bountiful harvest and for the good health to the people. It is also an opportunity for the younger generation to learn the rich culture and beautiful traditions of the Angamis. Generosity, benevolence, unity and forgiveness are some significant essence found in Terhünyi festival.

“I wish you all happiness, good health, prosperity and happy celebrations. God bless everybody!” read the festive message from the governor.
