Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN): GPRN/NSCN (Khehoi) on Sunday extended appreciation to the leaders of the Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC-NNPG), NSCN (IM) and the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) led by Rev. Dr. Wati Aier for putting in more effort to ‘restrengthen’ the Covenant of Reconciliation.

‘Reconciliation is a must for true healing to take place within the Naga family. Without coming together and working in unison for a common aspiration, Naga future is heading towards obscurity’, a statement from MIP read.

It placed on record the September 14 ‘Joint Accordant’, the Kolkata meeting of October 17 and 18, and the subsequent formation of the Council of Naga Relationships and Cooperation (CNRC) under the initiative of FNR.

It said that unlike the ‘past failed agreements, opting for a realistic and practical way would certainly yield a positive result in time’.

“While joining hands with FNR-initiated CNRC, we call upon fellow Naga brethren to jointly participate and support this process of shaping and building a shared future,” it added.
