Nagaland administers 17,36,509 COVID vaccines

Dimapur, Oct. 8 (EMN): Nagaland has administered a total of 17,36,509 COVID-19 vaccine doses including 67,647 precautionary doses for the age group of 12 years and above as well as healthcare workers (HCW) and frontline workers (FLW) as on October 7.
The breakup of those vaccinated showed that 16,022 HCW have received the first dose of Covishield, 13,622 received the second dose, and 4850 precautionary doses; while 61,135 FLW have been administered the first dose of Covishield, 49,204 with the second dose, and 29508 received precautionary doses, according to the department of Health and Family Welfare.
Data also showed that 2,22,235 people of 45 years and above category were administered first doses, 1,94,966 persons received the second dose and 13,252 received the precautionary dose. Under the category of 18 to 44 years, 5,27,715 persons have received the first dose, 4,18,380 persons received the second dose, and 20,487 persons were administered precautionary dose.
For the age of 15 to 17 years, 72,692 persons were administered first dose of Covaxin and 48,096 persons received the second dose.
The daily bulletin of the department showed that (including the 1st and 2nd dose) Dimapur district has administered 36,320 Covaxin doses followed by Kohima with 18,291 doses, Kiphire with 4,096 doses, Mokokchung with 10,986 doses, Mon with 14,078 doses, Peren with 4,310 doses, Phek with 8,063 doses, Longleng with 3,386 doses, Tuensang with 9,776 doses, Wokha with 5,772 doses and Zunheboto with 5,710 doses.
Meanwhile, a total of 44,795 CorBEvax vaccines for the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered, in which 25,872 received the first dose and 18,923 received the second dose.
District-wise data showed that, including the 1st and 2nd dose, Dimapur district has administered 9,812 CorBEvax doses, Kohima with 4355 doses, Kiphire with 1,485 doses, Mokokchung with 4,785 doses, Mon with 8,583 doses, Peren with 1,506 doses, Phek with 1,461 doses, Longleng with 1,670 doses, Tuensang with 5,673 doses, Wokha with 3,079 doses, and Zunheboto with 2,386 doses.
