Agri. dept. distributes IPM kits in Mon

Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): Agriculture department of Tobu division conducted a farmers’ field school (FFS) and distribution of IPM kits at Changlangshu Changsa Village in Mon district on September 30. The resource person of the training programme and agriculture inspector, Imosanen, advised the farmers to minimise the use of chemical pesticides, identify pest and defenders in the field by carrying out AESA. Altogether, 32 farmers attended the programme.

SMKWS organises relief camp

Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): Sumi Missionary Kuposhukulu Welfare Society (SMKWS) successfully conducted charitable works at Grace Nagamese Baptist Church located at Grace Colony, Nagarjan, on September 20. The Camp was led by its president Xukhupu A Zhimomi, and general secretary, H Hoito Achumi, with other office bearers for the uplift of needy and helpless people.

BJP minority conveys Puja greetings

Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): Nagaland unit of the BJP minority morcha has greeted the people on the occasion of Durga Puja festival. The unit president, Deep Kumar, expressed hope that the goddess Durga would grant courage and strength to face all the odds in life and shower with unlimited happiness. He has further requested everybody to participate in ‘Swachh Bharat’ programme on October 2 by undertaking cleaning drive in their respective areas.

CPO condoles demise of  APO former president

Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): The Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) has condoled the demise of Vipose Zao, former president of Angami Public Organisation who passed away on September 28. “As a leader, he was a man of repute who walked the talk and worked tirelessly for the welfare of our people everywhere at any time,” CPO stated in a condolence message.
