INR 234.42crore utilised on Kohima Smart City projects – Rio

Kohima, Sep. 20 (EMN): Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, who is also in-charge of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, stated that the total amount of funds sanctioned under Kohima Smart City was INR 275 crore including INR 245 crore from the centre and INR 30 crore state share.
He was replying to the starred question of MLA Khriehu Liezietsu, who wished to know the amount of funds sanctioned under Smart City so far on the first day of the 12th session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
To the query on how much amount has been utilised and against which works and colonies/ areas, Rio answered that an amount of INR 234.42 crore has been utilised in different localities and locations for different projects.
Rio also clarified that Kohima village is not covered under Kohima Smart City.
