More than half-a-dozen movies hitting the screens this week

Dimapur, Sep. 7 (EMN): More than half-a-dozen Bollywood, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam movies, including Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva are set to hit the theatres this week, on September 8 and the 9th. Festive season may not have arrived but there are a few interesting movies lined up for release.

Here is list of Bollywood, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam movies scheduled for release on Friday, September 9, 2022:

Bollywood (Hindi)

Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva: This much-awaited movie starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles is a fantasy adventure written and directed by Ayan Mukerji. It also has Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in prominent roles.

Subway: It is an action comedy thriller starring Ravi Kishan, Naazuk, Vishal Vishesh and Raj Singh in the lead roles. Produced under the banner Jagat Janani Entertainments and GETS Film And Entertainment Pvt. Ltd,. the movie is directed by Shivraj Deval and scheduled for release this Friday.

Malayalam

Ottu: A Malayalam-Tamil bilingual with the Tamil title Rendagam, this movie has Kunchacko Boban and Eesha Rebba in the lead role. It marks the return of actor Arvind Swamy to Malayalam cinema after 25 years. It is a thriller directed by Fellini TP and produced by Arya and Shaji Nadesan.

Oru Thekkan Thallu Case: Actors Biju Menon, Roshan Mathew and Padmapriya play the lead roles in the movie. Scheduled to be released on September 8, this drama is directed by Sreejith N and produced by Mukesh R. Mehta and C.V. Sarathi.

Tamil

Captain: It is an action sci-fi thriller movie starring Arya and Aishwarya Lekshmi in lead roles. Directed by Shakti Soundar, the movie is also made in Telugu with the same title and lead cast.

Kanam: Directed by Shree Karthick, this sci-fi movie is a bilingual with the Telugu version titled Oke Oka Jeevitham. It is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and stars Sharwanand, Ritu Varma and Amala Akkineni in the lead roles.

Not Reachable:  It is a crime thriller written and directed by Chandru Murugananth. Starring Vishwa Sridharan and Sai Dhanyaa in the lead roles, the movie is set for release this Friday.

Telugu

Gaalodu: This action entertainer directed by Rajasekar Reddy Pulicharla is scheduled for release this Friday. It has actors Sudigali Sudheer and Gehna Sippy in the lead roles.

Oke Oka Jeevitham: It is a bilingual sci-fi movie starring Sharwanand, Ritu Varma and Amala Akkineni, and its Tamil version is titled Kanam. It is directed by Shree Karthick and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.

Captain: This sci-fi thriller Tamil movie starring Arya and Aishwarya Lekshmi is scheduled to be released in Telugu on 8 September.
