Nagaland DGP fetes taekwon-do GM Israel G Xuivi

Dimapur, Sep. 6 (EMN): Nagaland DGP, T John Longkumer, has congratulated Grand Master, Israel G Xuivi, deputy commandant, for his historic induction into International Taekwondo Hall of Fame on August 19, at Jersey City, New Jersey, USA.

An update informed that Longkumer also lauded Israel for his life-long achievements in the field of taekwon-do and for bringing laurels to the Police department in particular and Nagaland state and the country.

“Israel met police chief and his deputies of Jersey City Police during this historic trip to the United States. As a welcome gesture, the police chief honored him with police badge/shield as a respect to fellow police officers,” it stated.

This gesture has brought a good international relationship between Nagaland Police department and the Jersey City Police department, it stated.

The DGP acknowledged this kind deed of Jersey City Police and further stated that this is a new symbol of unity and brotherhood between the police officers of Nagaland State of India and Jersey City, New Jersey of USA, it added.
