Grand Master Israel G Xuivi officially inducted into Taekwon-do Hall of Fame

Dimapur, Aug. 22 (EMN): Grand Master Israel G Xuivi, the founder of Naga Kiti-do and a international Taekwon-do player was officially inducted into the Taekwon-do Hall of Fame at Hyatt Regency, 2 Exchange Palace, Jersey City, New Jersey, USA on August 19.

An update informed that he was inducted for his outstanding achievements, tagging him as a “Pioneer Taekwon-do instructor”. He was honoured by Grand Master Gerard E Robbins, the president of Taekwon-do Hall of Fame in the presence of executive directors and technical advisors.

The award was in conformity with the recognition in the official website of international Taekwondo Hall of Fame 2021 for his outstanding performance and achievements in Taekwon-do tagging him as ‘Outstanding ITF taekwondo champion’. 

Xuivi is the second person from India to be inducted into the Hall of Fame after Grand Master Puran Andrew Gurung, the founder of taekwondo in India and Nepal.

As approved by the technical advisors of All Naga Kiti-do Association, Xuivi also awarded the honorary 9 Degree Black belt to Grand Master Gerard E Robbins for his achievement, commitment and dedication towards promoting martial arts around the world and to promote Naga indigenous martial art Naga Kiti-do globally.

It may be mentioned that 67 renowned international Grand Masters from various taekwondo organisations were inducted in the ceremony. 

Meanwhile, the All Naga Kiti-do Association congratulated its founder and president, Grand Master Xuivi for the historic achievement.
