Dimapur, Aug. 20 (EMN): Commemorating ‘World Photography Day, the Art Club of Norman Putsure College (NPC) organised a photography competition on August 19 at the college premises.
An update from the college stated that Atsen Murry, managing director of Pixel Stories, graced the occasion as the special guest, wherein he encouraged the students by sharing about his life’s experiences. He stated that photography is a good career choice in the current scenario.
Urging the students to discover their talents and choose suitable paths, he encouraged them to have an eye for discovering the dire needs of the society and to turn it into an opportunity to benefit the society as well as the individuals. He motivated the students to spend at least one hour in a day to learn something new.
He further enumerated basic photography tips to the students and also judged the photography competition.
It stated that Shibu Majumdar was declared the winner of the competition, while Bwenlo Mesung and Yanchang Y Chang won the second and third positions respectively. The winners were awarded cash prizes and certificates.
