Nagaland Governor, Chief Minister extend Tsükhenye greetings
Dimapur, April 23 (EMN): Nagaland Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio conveyed greetings to the Chakhesang community on the occasion of Tsükhenye festival.
Mukhi said that the festival marks the end of a successful harvest year and preparation for the arrival of spring.
“It is also a time for seeking God’s blessings to replenish with good health and strength and a time to revive and rejuvenate before heading to the toiling work for the next seasonal harvest,” he said.
The governor also wished good health, peace and a happy celebration of the festival.
Rio also took to Twitter to greet the Chakhesang community on the auspicious occasion.
“Greetings to the Chakhesang community on the joyous occasion of Tsükhenye which marks the end of a successful harvest year. May God Almighty bless you with good health, happiness and a blessed and fruitful year ahead,” he wrote.
