Kohima, April 21 (EMN): At least 11 teachers of the 2010 and 2013 batches of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) teachers were served show-cause notice for submitting fake documents.
This was informed by Advisor for Information and Technology, Science and Technology, New and Renewable Resources, Mmhonlümo Kikon after the Cabinet meeting held at the chief minister’s residential complex in Kohima on Thursday.
A total of 11 teachers were found to have “fraudulent certificates” during the process of verification of their documents for mainstreaming. Accordingly, show cause notices were served to them.
‘There are around 2311 teachers who will have to go for final verification of their documents for mainstreaming and they will be included in the School Education cadre’, Kikon said.
Out of that, there are various categories — those whose documents have already been verified and not verified — because institutions that have given them their qualifications have not responded to the department, he said.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet approved mainstreaming Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) teachers of the 2010 and 2013 batches.
The state government through a notification on October 18 2020 had assured to solve the matter of including the two batches of teachers into the School Education cadre within 18 months.
