Nagaland: Salesian College organises music fest
Dimapur, March 12 (EMN): Salesian college of Higher Education organised a one day music fest at Fr. Bernick Memorial Hall on March 12, 2022.
An update issued on March 12 informed that the fest was organised by the 6th semester students of the college with theme ‘Summer of Love.’
The music fest witnessed choir competitions, instrumental piece performances, musical bands, choreography by the students of different semesters, etc.
The students of sixth semester were declared first for the choir competition.
The music fest was graced by Kashito Kiba, the Managing Director Pheto Music and Film Academy; Chairman of Nagaland Film Association; Founder of Kids for Fame and Nagas Got Talent and Recipient of Governors Award in the field of music in 2013.
Kashito is said to have encouraged the students to take seriousness in whatever they do. He urged the students to be consistent and hardworking if they were truly passionate about music. He advised the students to be humble as strive hard to bring laurels to the society. He praised the holistic education of the Don Bosco system which has been forming millions of youth.
Guest artiste Jongma H Ungh, Music Producer/Proprietor JHC RECORDS and the vocalist of Papersky enthralled the audience with his original and cover songs.
The judges for the choir competition were Fr. Peter Salew Sdb, Fr. John Lichoi and Avibou Nagi.
