11th Lotha Football Championship: Friends Club to take on A1 Tsungiki in the final

Dimapur, Feb. 9 (EMN):  Last year’s runner-up team A1 Tsungiki will take on Friends Club Wokha Village in the finals of the 11th Lotha Football Championship, organised by Wokha District Football Association at local ground, Wokha on Thursday.

In the first semi final match, Friends Club defeated NRSA by 2-0. Kevizo Vero and Awang scored the winning goal for Friends Club in the 31st and 75th minute of the game, an update informed.

In the second match, A1 Tsungiki cruised past Longsa Sports Association to reach the final. Yiben, Nythong, Kekhrie and Senlo kent netted a goal each for A1 Tsungiki.

Chonpenthung Ezung, SDO (C) and Yanrenthung Humtsoe were the match patrons for the first and second semi final matches respectively.

Y M Humtsoe, vice president of NDPP will attend the closing ceremony of the 11th Lotha Football Championship as the special guest.
