63rd Nasa sports meet to culminate today

Kohima, Feb. 4 (EMN): Football, volleyball and indoor games marked day-four of the ongoing 63rd Northern Angami Sports Association (Nasa).
Nasa ‘C’ won the men’s football title defeating Nasa ‘A’ in the final by 3-2.
Nasa ‘D’ overpowered Nasa ‘B’ in women’s volleyball final to emerge as the champion, while Nasa ‘C’ became winners in men’s volleyball defeating Nasa ‘A’.
In table tennis men’s single, Seyievilie Seyie and Kevilevor Metha, both from Nasa ‘D’ claimed the first and second position respectively, while in women’s category, Thejavinuo Rio of Nasa ‘D’ and Ruokuolhounuo Rame of Nasa ‘A’ stood first and second position respectively.
In the men’s doubles event, Kevilevor Metha and Dziesevituo Metha of Nasa ‘D’ defeated Vizosanyü Rutsa and Thejangutuo Solo of Nasa ‘A’, while in women’s doubles, Vichaduonuo Rame and Ketoulhounuo Rame from Nasa ‘A’ emerged as the champion with Kevisenuo Pfüsenuo and Kevilenuo Pfüsenuo of Nasa ‘C’ as the runner-up.
Vikehietuo Kense of Nasa ‘D’ bagged first position in badminton men’s single, while Kelengulie Seyie from the same group bagged second. Nguluonuo Miachieo from Nasa ‘A’ defeated Ruokuoneinuo Kire from the same group in the women’s event.
In men’s doubles, Vikehietuo Kense and Zhakuo Seyie from Nasa ‘D’ emerged winners, while Akhrietuo Suokhrie and Teisovise Khruomo of Nasa’A’ were the runner-up. In women’s doubles, Dzüziengunuo Linyü and Nguluonuo Miachieo from Nasa ‘A’ edged past Ruokuokhrienuo Chadi and Vizophrenuo Semou of Nasa ‘C’.
The winners of mixed doubles were Rüvuokhrielie Roland Pienyü and Ruokuoneinuo Kire from Nasa ‘A’ and runner-up position went to Zhakuo Seyie and Vidilhounuo Rüpreo ofNasa ‘D’.
The Naga style wrestling will take place on February 5 from 8:30 am onwards at Khuochiezie (Kohima local ground) with Khriehu Liezietsu as the special patron.
NASA wrestling secretary, Neisavotuo Whuorie will administer oath to the wrestlers.
Northern Angami Public Organisation (NAPO) president Zeneituo Yano will be the special guest of the valedictory programme.
