IGAR (East) Spear Corps organises civic action programme

Dimapur, Jan. 29 (EMN): Security forces of IGAR (East) Spear Corps under Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme (ARCAP) provided 12 bunk beds to children of Fernando Rehabilitation Centre for Differently Abled, Agartala, Tripura on Jan. 27.

The project, which cost INR two lakh, was undertaken with an aim to provide comfort to the differently abled children of the rehabilitation centre, a press release informed.

A programme was organised wherein, the bunk beds were handed over to the children of the rehabilitation centre in the presence of officials and attended by 25 children and staff of the rehabilitation centre.

The children and the staff of the rehabilitation centre conveyed their gratitude for providing assistance to the children, it said.
