Dimapur, Jan. 26 (EMN): Governor of Nagaland and Assam, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi extended festive greetings to the Kachari community on the occasion of Bishu festival.
The governor shared that this post harvest festival fosters ‘love, reconciliation and courtesy’.
“It is also a time when the rich cultural and spiritual practices are in full display and the Kacharis rejoice and seek blessings.
“Let us celebrate this beautiful festival responsibly by adhering to all the Covid-19 protocols.
On this auspicious occasion, I wish you all a safe and a happy celebration. God bless Nagaland!” he said.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Wednesday also wished the Kachari community a happy Bishu.
