Dimapur, Nov. 7 (EMN): As many as 13 fresh Covid-19 positive cases were detected in Nagaland on Sunday, taking the tally to 31,935.
The state’s cumulative recoveries have increased to 30,008 with 10 more recoveries on Sunday.
The death toll remains unchanged at 673 as no death was reported in the last 24 hours.
According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, five positive cases were reported in Dimapur, three in Kohima, two each in Mokokchung and Peren, and one in Zunheboto.
Meanwhile, four patients recovered in Kohima, three in Dimapur, two in Mokokchung and one in Peren.
Out 191 active cases in the state, 157 are asymptomatic, 20 mild, five moderate on oxygen, five severe on oxygen, and four in ICU on ventilator.
10,853 fresh cases in India
India reported a saw a single-day rise of 10,853 Covid-19 infections, taking the country’s total tally of cases to 3,43,55,536, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
It said the death toll climbed to 4,60,791 with 526 more fatalities.
The active cases declined to 1,44,845 with the recovery of 12,432 patients in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, with the administration of 28,40,174 vaccine doses, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 108.21 crore (1,08,21,66,365).
