All India Chess Association to organise training, coaching camp

Dimapur, Sep. 30 (EMN): All India Chess Federation will be conducting district-wise online arbiter and organiser training and coaching camps for players.

An update from Nagaland Chess Association informed that programme will kick off from the first week of November.

It stated that for arbiter training, each district can enrol two candidates (preferably one male and one female) for 30-hour programme including an exam spread over four-five  days to cover all the aspects for officiating an event. The final exam will be objective type. After successful completion of the training the candidates will be awarded with the National Arbiter Title. The fee will be INR 500 for each candidate and there will be 50% concession for participants from North East and Andaman.

Each district can enrol two candidates for national organiser training, and this 30-hour programme will also include an exam spread four-five days to cover all the aspects for conducting an event. Meanwhile, for coaching camp for players each district can enrol two boys and two girls (standard rating below 1600) for this programme spread over six days. There will not be any fee for the coaching camp.
